4th of July and Your Pets
Curtis and I are already getting prepared for our upcoming 4th of July celebration. We won’t be having any fireworks at our neighborhood party, however, they will be going off in the distance. And since we live in a rural area, we'll still hear guns being fired in the air in celebration of the holiday. When Mercedes and Zsa-Zsa hear that first BOOM of the fireworks, they seek cover. This means they dive under our feet or jump on top of us to find comfort.
So we have a couple of different treats we use to keep our dogs secure and chill for times like these, and we will start giving it to them a few days prior to the holiday weekend. CBDoggies and Doggie Num Nums help them relax so when the fireworks start, they can stay calm (or calmer).
Because Curtis and I are hosting the neighborhood party, there will be people in and out of our house in addition to the fireworks. The commotion of everyone coming and going could make Mercedes and Zsa-Zsa a little overwhelmed even in their relaxed state. We want to keep our dogs safe and care-free as much as possible during parties, so, we’ll give them a few extra CBD treats.
If we see that stress is creeping in, we have our super powered Dew Drops on hand and place 1/2 a dropper full on some Buckey Bites. We know our fur babies love Buckey Bites because they are tasty and also give natural nutrients to their body. This is so important for their health and well being. So, with all the love and care we give to our fur babies to help them feel relaxed and secure, we're sure to have a stress free party!
My story isn't much different than my friends who have the same experiences with their pets. No matter the size, breed or type, they really don't like loud noises. And coupled with the stress of having people over, our pets need to feel secure and protected.
Happy 4th of July, my friends. I have to get back to getting things together for our neighborhood party. May your weekend be blessed with delicious food, fun times and stay safe!!
Yours Fondly, Amy
